Dayfor is a family business created in 1973 in Daimiel, where the Tablas de Daimiel National Park and the Motilla del Azuer are located. Both locations put into perspective the importance that great civilizations have given to water and natural resources, which, specifically in La Mancha, were valued as authentic treasures since the Bronze Age. Today, being located in an area with recurrent droughts and dependent on water for its social, touristic and economic activity, our commitment to nature is naturally implicit in our company philosophy.
As connoisseurs of our history and environmental heritage, we are aware of the importance of preserving and protecting the environment. Therefore, we put all the means at our disposal to make our production as sustainable as possible. Investing in efficient technologies, responsible consumption, recovery and recycling equals giving opportunities to the future of our region, country and planet.
As consumers of forest raw materials, since 2014 and as pioneers in Spain, we have developed and implemented a Chain of Custody System, supported by the FSC® guidelines (FSC-C122866). Through the Forest StewardshipCouncil®it is ensured that the process of production and distribution of raw materials is carried out in a responsible manner to the final consumer, without compromising the integrity of the forests from which they are obtained. This avoids the trade and purchase of illegally harvested timber, from threatened forests that are being converted to plantations, to genetically modified trees.
We give preference to the purchase of forest products with a high content of recycled material and we also manage all their post-consumer waste. For example, our wood residues are used in our biomass boiler, generating thermal energy.
We are certified by the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 and Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2015, in addition to following the European Union Timber Regulation.
Dayfor cuenta con el sello de calidad AITIM. In order to guarantee an extended life of our products and generate a responsible consumption we do not manufacture low cost products

Our Code of Conduct and Responsible Practices, as well as our Code of Conduct for Manufacturers and Suppliers, are the cornerstones of this culture. These codes do not only respect human and labor rights, they establish the principles and values that govern our relationships with our stakeholders, including our teams and supply chain.
Our company has an area of 70,000 m2, which includes 17,000 m2 of production halls and offices. It specializes in technical carpentry, offering customized solutions for each project we work on. For our R+D+i team, it is a priority to collaborate with different quality control laboratories to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.
Our research, development and innovation department works directly and personally with our clients, architects, designers, builders and carpenters, to adapt our products to the needs of the market. We are therefore constantly evolving, designing innovative products and updating those that have become outdated.
Our services are focused on public works projects, such as hotels, healthcare buildings, educational centers and other services, in an area of influence that extends to Europe, Africa, South America and the United Arab Emirates.
