Anti-barricade.

Barricaded doors allow hospital staff to open the door outwards in an emergency situation, a situation normally caused by the door being blocked inside the room, allowing staff to gain access to the inside of the room. When a barricade situation occurs, staff only need to unlock the hinge mechanism and the door will open outwards allowing entry into the room within seconds.

These doors are often installed in psychiatric facilities to prevent patient injuries or various risk situations.
In addition to their special functionality, these doors must be durable and shock resistant, which is why they are usually finished in HPL or compact phenolic, a type of coating in which Dayfor is a specialist.

In Dayfor we are specialized in the manufacture of technical doors, we know that psychiatric doors require a good functional result but it is also important the security and resistance.
