Dayfor was created in 1973 to offer wood solutions for construction and renovations, while also providing advice, technical and commercial assistance. We distinguish ourselves by having a wide range of technical products that can be customized to adapt to any project to make the most of each space. Our main field of action are hotels, hospitals, schools and institutes, universities, residences and other public centers. We offer a wide range of products as a door factory.
As specialists in technical doors, we have completed more than 80 types of tests, all made in laboratories accredited by ENAC. Our R+D+i department is in charge of developing doors with special technical requirements such as fire safety (EI-30, EI-60, EI-90), acoustic insulation, X-ray insulation and armored doors.
Our fire resistance tests include numerous variations: flush doors with and without concealed hinges, armored doors, special sizes for great heights, with concealed door closers or with metal frames.
In addition, we have products with acoustic attenuations from 30dB to 47dB, both for interior doors and for EI-30 or EI-60.
Another key point is the design of the products. In Dayfor we are characterized by making products according to the customer’s needs. Therefore, we are open to any desired finish and we will study the way to faithfully capture it.
The most used are: natural and precomposed veneers, lacquers, high pressure laminates (HPL), phenolic compacts, CPL and melamines.
